Independent Air maintains my AC system twice a year and does a thorough job. They've also been called on to troubleshoot and repair my system. All of the Independent Air techs have been very helpful and friendly. Their prices are competitive and I have high confidence in what they do. Definitely my go-to for AC service.
Joe and his employees always do the very best work on our heating and AC system. They are very professional, take care not to soil our house when they work, and give the best service. Their annual maintenance contract definitely saves us money if any extra work needs to be done. They also head off any serious damage to the system by diagnosing potential issues and replacing needed parts before they totally break down. We are very happy having them as our service contractors.
I have been a very happy Independent Air customer for quite a few years. When my AC stopped working, Independent Air sent a repairman very quickly even though it was late in the day. The company has always provided prompt service and the technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. Ricky was on time and kept me informed on his progress and cleaning of the AC unit. I've been with Independent Air since 2005. They kept my first unit (installed In 2003) for 18 years. And then installed my replacement in. 2021. They have always been honest with and continue to provide excellent service.

Pete and his team were professional, polite, and experienced. They fixed two issues left from prior work done that had not been resolved. Now we have sufficient throughput of A/C into the kitchen, and no more insulation coming down from the attic through the fan over the cooktop. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend Independent Air.

Called late in the evening for elderly parent whose AC was broken, call was picked up immediately and Independent Air fit us in the schedule quick, came and diagnosed issue and repair was fixed immediately. I could not be more thrilled about my new heat pump installation from Independent Air Conditioning. The communication with this company is excellent. The installation went perfectly, and Jerry, Denny and Pete did a herculean job battling the 120° in the attic. I want to say thank you to everyone I spoke with and worked with at Independent AC. I just started a new job on Monday after being out of work for 4+ months and my AC decided to go out on Sunday before my first day of work. I called in on Tuesday and they didn't have an appointment in the morning until the next Tuesday, but when I told the sweet person on the phone my AC was not working, she made some calls and said someone would come out that night after I got off work at 6:30 pm. Joe came and provided me with a quote and explained what needed to be done after I got off work. I accepted the proposal on Wednesday and they made an appointment to do the replacement on Friday morning. Reinier Perez and Ernesto Galindo came out to remove the old AC unit and install the new unit along with Pete was there with he jackhammer bright and early. I was working from home at my new job while they were doing all the hot, dirty work outside. I know I left off a couple of names, but thank you to everyone on the phones, quotes, sales, and the install team.
Ernesto was great - very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. He was very pleasant and explained everything very well.
Wonderful job, Earnesto showed up on time and did an amazing job on our AC. He was able to make recommendations for us and install a much better float switch that was needed for our system. Excellent workmanship, and very professional. He truly performed the cleaning and maintenance on our system as if it was his own. Best air conditioning company I have ever used!! (I've owned my home for 30 years). Joe, the owner, is always there when you need him, and I can't say enough nice things about Corey, the technician!!! The office staff are so friendly and I guess the best part is how knowledgeable everyone at Independent Air are. You will always get a human when you call, or on a very rare occasion, an immediate call back. I will never use anyone else and I highly recommend them to all who need a trustworthy, dependable air conditioning service!!!
After I purchased my home a few years ago I wanted to get the AC serviced. I asked a friend who suggested Independent Air. We have never had a better experience with A/C service. NO UP SELLING, NO GIMICKS, and pricing can't be beat. Don't waste your time and money calling those A/C companies that advertise with they're supposed maintenance, tune-up specials, they will rip you off and ultimately you are paying those advertising costs. We have done business with Independent Air as they were the company that had installed the AC unit prior to our purchasing our home. We have been extremely pleased with their service. We had a problem one night after 8pm. We called and a service person arrived at our door in less than 30 minutes. I can not say enough good about independent air and especially Cory who works with this company. He is exceptional.

During my annual service I ordered an Ecobee thermostat that was installed quickly and the technician showed me how to set the app on my phone. Several days later I was out of town and received an alert that there was an issue with the temperature in my house, so I called and Joe had a technician at my house that afternoon who diagnosed the problem and got my old unit up and running like new. I came home from vacation to a nice cool house thanks to Joe and his excellent professional staff!
The only ac company that actually took into account size of house, how many windows, and sun exposure of house when replacing ac instead of just sq footage. Does very thorough yearly maintenance. Service tech. Corey is terrific.
I have used Independent Air for maintenance at our rental house in Tampa for years now. I can always rely on them to remind us annually, work with contacting and scheduling with the tenant and then sending us a convenient online invoice. I have been so impressed with their customer service!

I just had my third annual service yesterday on one AC unit, my business is having its fifth annual service on three AC units today (one of which Independent Air installed), and my parents are having their second annual AC service on two AC units (one of which Independent Air installed). What a wonderful experience! I called and within an hour a technician was here and had us cool again. He even went out of his way to see if the part that went bad was under warranty. What a pleasant experience dealing with a company that does what they say they're going to do. There were no surprises they cut me a breast of what was going on and the job was completed on time. The inspector came after the job was completed and told me they did a great job. Evan a company do what they say they're going to do is a rare commodity these days.
